• Both pilots of an Indian Air Force

Su-30MKI ejected safely before the fighter crashed on March 15. Three people on the ground were injured when the aircraft came down in the Shivkar village of Rajasthan’s Barmer district.

Chetak serial Z1006 (c/n 1574), operated by the Indian Air Force, suffered a hard landing and rolled over near Allahabad, India, during a training flight on March 15. • A U-28A operated by the US Air Force’s 27th Special Operations Wing’s 318th Special Operations Squadron crashed while conducing touch-and-go landings at Clovis Municipal Airport, New Mexico on March 14. Three crew aboard the aircraft were killed when it went down in a field in Curry County around 0.25 miles (0.4km) south of the airport.

F-16B serial TS-1603 operated by the Indonesian Air Force’s Skadron Udara 16 skidded off the runway at Nurjadin air base and flipped over as a result of an apparent brake failure on March 14. The base, which is located in the Pekanbaru, Riau province on Sumatra, shares its runways with Sultan Syarif Kasim II International Airport. Neither pilot was seriously injured.
