• An MQ-9A Reaper remotely piloted air system operated by the French Air Force crashed in the desert near Bougoum, Torodi, Niger on November 17. The loss marked the irst such accident for the French Reaper force, which has lown more than 23,000 hours since entering operational service.

• An instructor pilot was killed and a second sufered serious injuries in the crash of a US Air Force T-38C Talon at Laughlin AFB, Texas, on November 13. The Talon and two pilots were assigned to the 47th Flying Training Wing’s 87th Flying Training Squadron.

• US Navy F/A-18F BuNo 166888 assigned to Strike Fighter Squadron (VFA) 102 ‘Diamondbacks’, crashed in the Philippine Sea on November 12. The Super Hornet had been operating from the aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Both the pilot and weapons systems oicer (WSO) ejected from the strike ighter before it went down near Minami-Daito Island, Okinawa, and were recovered by a US Navy plane guard helicopter crew from the carrier.

• C-130E serial 4180 (ex-RAAF serial A97-180), operated by the Pakistan Air Force’s 6th Air Transport Squadron, ran of the runway while conducting a touch-and-go at Nur Khan airbase in Rawalpindi International Airport on November …
