Over the course of a year, I usually attend a great number of military vehicle events. There are, however, not many which leave me with such a feeling of enjoyment as Armour and Embarkation. The first in 2010 was only supposed to be a one-off. Due to popular demand and with an enlarged organisation team comprising Jack Beckett, Jim and Abbie Clark, Adrian Scott, Graham and Jacqui Cole and Steve Ellis George, three more A&E events took place with the 2022 event being announced as the final one. The event comprises road runs involving tight convoys to three local destinations: Weymouth on Friday, Dorchester on Saturday and Martinstown on Sunday.
